To attack and plunder (攻击劫夺 [gong ji jie duo]).
From Records of the Grand Historian (《史记 [shi ji]》), Volume 122, "Biographies of Harsh Officials" (《酷吏传 [ku li chuan]》), "Biography of Yi Zong" (《义纵传 [yi zong chuan]》): "Yi Zong (义纵 [yi zong]), a native of Hedong (河东 [he dong]), when he was young, once, together with Zhang Cigong (张次公 [zhang ci gong]), engaged in attacking and plundering as a gang of bandits (群盗 [qun dao])."
攻剽：攻擊劫奪。《史記．卷一二二．酷吏傳．義縱傳》：「義縱者，河東人也，為少年時，嘗與張次公俱攻剽為群盜。」
gōng piāo: gōng jī jié duó. < shǐ jì． juǎn yī èr èr． kù lì chuán． yì zòng chuán>: “yì zòng zhě, hé dōng rén yě, wèi shǎo nián shí, cháng yǔ zhāng cì gōng jù gōng piāo wèi qún dào.”
