Used always with verbs implying injurious action, restraint &c. Ex. vāghānēṃ gō0 dharalī-phāḍalī-sōḍalī &c. v dhara, phōḍa, phuṭa. gō0 dharaṇēṃ To detain in painful or helpless waiting for; or to restrain from free action; to tie one's hands up. gōkaṭīsa basaṇēṃ To urge or importune; to hang upon in violent enforcement or worrying supplication.
