Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarygōḍajēvaṇa (गोडजेवण).—n gōḍatōṇḍa n An entertainment of nice things given by the family of a bride to the bridegroom and his friends: also by the bridegroom's family to the friends accompanying the bride: also (gūḷa being preeminently served) upon the fourteenth day after a death, by the principal mourner to the relatives and friends of the deceased. 2 gōḍajēvaṇa further signifies A meal upon sweets. Ex. gō0 kēlēṃ tara pāṇyācā śōṣa lāgēlaca.
