ghōḷāṅkāra (घोळांकार).—m An emphatic or enhancing formation from ghōḷa with ākāra Form; or with kāra A common affix; or with kāra Signifying effort or exertion. Or it may be formed as ghōraṅkāra and derived from ghōra &c., for the popular acceptation is the same. See therefore ghōraṅkāra throughout, and ghōḷa in its second, third, and fourth senses.
