Ex. tō tyācē aṅgāvara ghasaralā tēvhāṃ tyācī bōbaḍī vaḷalī. 3 To set to; to apply vigorously. Ex. cāra mahinyācēṃ kāma myāṃ cāra divasa ghasarūna taḍīsa nēlēṃ. 4 To err, mistake, blunder. 5 To slip from; to leave one--a post or an office, a footing or hold: also to fall from; to be dismissed--the person. 6 To waste away--the body. 7 To break--the constitution; to decrease, decline, deteriorate gen. 8 To fail, sink, quail, die--courage, confidence: to faint, falter, flinch, blanch--a person: to sustain reverses; to go down the hill.
