gharaṭīsa (घरटीस).—ad C (An irregular derivative from ghara) It implies Per house or household; and is used in speaking of matters (esp. those of assessing, amercing, and distributing) which concern alike all the households. Ex. tyānēṃ gha0 pāñca pāñca rupayē ghētalē or dilhē. gha0 āmantraṇa An invitation to each household or to a member of each.
