疙疸 [gē dǎn] [ge dan]—
1. Raised granules (顆粒 [ke li]) or lumps (腫塊 [zhong kuai]) on the skin (皮膚 [pi fu]). From Chapter 53 of Water Margin (《水滸傳 [shui hu chuan]》): "Isn't this what we want! If it falls down, what a big lump (大 [da]) it will be." From Chapter 21 of Journey to the West (《西遊記 [xi you ji]》): "Oh my goodness! What a big mosquito (蚊子 [wen zi])! It bit a big lump (大 [da]) in one bite!" Also written as 疙瘩 [ge da].
2. Knots (衣結 [yi jie]) on clothes, or patches (補釘 [bu ding]). From Act 2 of The Rise and Fall of the Rich and Poor (《貧富興衰 [pin fu xing shuai]》) by Anonymous (無名氏 [wu ming shi]) from the Ming Dynasty (明 [ming]): "Outside, there was a poor person (窮子 [qiong zi]) from who knows where, wearing a cloth gown (布衫 [bu shan]) with one or two hundred knots/patches on it."
疙疸:1.皮膚上突起的顆粒、腫塊。《水滸傳》第五三回:「卻不是要!若跌下來,好個大疙疸。」《西遊記》第二一回:「我爺啞!好大蚊子!一口就叮了一個大疙疸!」也作「疙瘩」。
2.衣結、補釘。明.無名氏《貧富興衰》第二折:「外邊不知哪裡來的一個窮子,穿著一領布衫,上面有一二百個疙疸。」
gē dǎn:1. pí fū shàng tū qǐ de kē lì,, zhǒng kuài. < shuǐ hǔ chuán> dì wǔ sān huí: “què bù shì yào! ruò diē xià lái, hǎo gè dà gē dǎn.” < xī yóu jì> dì èr yī huí: “wǒ yé yǎ! hǎo dà wén zi! yī kǒu jiù dīng le yī gè dà gē dǎn! ” yě zuò “gē da” .
2. yī jié,, bǔ dīng. míng. wú míng shì < pín fù xìng shuāi> dì èr zhé: “wài biān bù zhī nǎ lǐ lái de yī gè qióng zi, chuān zhe yī lǐng bù shān, shàng miàn yǒu yī èr bǎi gè gē dǎn.”
ge dan:1. pi fu shang tu qi de ke li,, zhong kuai. < shui hu chuan> di wu san hui: "que bu shi yao! ruo die xia lai, hao ge da ge dan." < xi you ji> di er yi hui: "wo ye ya! hao da wen zi! yi kou jiu ding le yi ge da ge dan! " ye zuo "ge da" .
