Gaṃṭumūṭe (ಗಂಟುಮೂಟೆ):—

1) [noun] the trunks, bags, etc. of a traveller, esp. when packed and being used on a trip; luggage; baggage.

2) [noun] ಗಂಟುಮೂಟೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸು [gamtumute kattisu] gaṇṭumūṭe kaṭṭisu to send (someone) away (from a place or job); ಗಂಟುಮೂಟೆ ಕಟ್ಟು [gamtumute kattu] gaṇṭumūṭe kaṭṭu (fig.) to pack up all belongings to leave the place (esp. one’s living place); to take one’s departure; to cut one’s stick.
