Gaddabhāli (गद्दभालि) is the name of an ascetic, as mentioned in the Vividhatīrthakalpa by Jinaprabhasūri (13th century A.D.): an ancient text devoted to various Jaina holy places (tīrthas).—Accordingly, “[...] Here (i.e., Kaṃpilla?) lived King Saṃjaya. Going hunting, he saw gazelles killed in Kesarujjāṇa Park. There he saw the ascetic Gaddabhāli: seized with disgust, he renounced the world and attained the Right Way”.
