佛學 [fú xué] [fu xue]—
The philosophy (哲學 [zhe xue]) studying Buddhist scriptures (佛教經典 [fu jiao jing dian]) originated in ancient India (古印度 [gu yin du]) approximately between the 6th and 5th centuries BCE. It subsequently spread throughout various regions of northern and southern India, evolving into Theravada Buddhism (小乘 [xiao cheng]) of the Southern Transmission (南傳 [nan chuan]) Pali (巴利語系 [ba li yu xi]) tradition, and Mahayana Buddhism (大乘 [da cheng]) of the Northern Transmission (北傳 [bei chuan]) Sanskrit (梵語 [fan yu]) tradition.
佛學:研究佛教經典的哲學,約在西元前五世紀至西元前六世紀的時候產生於古印度,以後流行於印度的南北各地,發展成南傳巴利語系的小乘佛學,與北傳梵語的大乘佛學。

斧削 [fǔ xuē] [fu xue]—
This is a humble term used when asking someone to revise or edit a piece of writing. For example: "If there are any inappropriate parts, I still hope for your (fǔ xuē)." It is also written as 斧正 [fu zheng] (fǔ zhèng) or 斧政 [fu zheng] (fǔ zhèng).

復學 [fù xué] [fu xue]—
To resume attending school (恢復上學 [hui fu shang xue]) after a temporary suspension (休學 [xiu xue]). For example: "He very much hopes to be able to return to school after recovering from his illness (病癒 [bing yu])."

複穴 [fù xué] [fu xue]—
Ancient cave dwellings (古時穴居 [gu shi xue ju]) were caves (洞穴 [dong xue]) formed by piling up earth (土 [tu]) on flat ground (平地 [ping de]). Also known as '復穴 [fu xue]'.

婦學 [fù xué] [fu xue]—
The etiquette (禮儀 [li yi]) and duties (職事 [zhi shi]) that ancient women (古代婦女 [gu dai fu nu]) should learn include female virtue (婦德 [fu de]), female speech (婦言 [fu yan]), female appearance (婦容 [fu rong]), and female work (婦功 [fu gong]). The 《Rites of Zhou》 (周禮 [zhou li]), 'Heavenly Offices' (天官 [tian guan]), 'Nine Concubines' (九嬪 [jiu pin]) states: "The Nine Concubines (九嬪 [jiu pin]) are in charge of the methods of female learning (之法 [zhi fa]), to teach the Nine Attendants (九御 [jiu yu]) female virtue (婦德 [fu de]), female speech (婦言 [fu yan]), female appearance (婦容 [fu rong]), and female work (婦功 [fu gong])." Jia Gongyan's (賈公彥 [jia gong yan]) commentary (疏 [shu]) from the Tang Dynasty (唐 [tang]) explains: "Those in charge of the methods of female learning (之法 [zhi fa]) refers to the principles that women (婦人 [fu ren]) learn, namely female virtue (婦德 [fu de]) and the subsequent categories."
