Chinese Buddhism (漢傳佛教, hanchuan fojiao) is the form of Buddhism that developed in China, blending Mahayana teachings with Daoist and Confucian thought. Its texts are mainly in Classical Chinese, based on translations from Sanskrit. Major schools include Chan (Zen), Pure Land, Tiantai, and Huayan. Chinese Buddhism has greatly influenced East Asian religion and culture.

苻秦 [fú qín] [fu qin]—
A state name. The monarch of the Former Qin (前秦 [qian qin]) during the Sixteen Kingdoms (十六國 [shi liu guo]) period had the surname Fu (苻 [fu]), hence it was called 'Fu Qin'.
苻秦:國名。十六國前秦君主姓苻,故稱為「苻秦」。

服勤 [fú qín] [fu qin]—
To undertake duties, labor, and similar tasks (擔任勤務 [dan ren qin wu]、勞力等事 [lao li deng shi]). For example: "The community chairman (社區主委 [she qu zhu wei]) installed an air conditioner in the guard room (警衛室 [jing wei shi]) at the entrance for the use of personnel on duty (人員 [ren yuan]) to rest." From "Book of Rites, Tan Gong I" (《禮記 [li ji].檀弓上 [tan gong shang]》): "To serve diligently until death, and observe mourning for three years." Jin Dynasty (晉 [jin]) Tao Yuanming (陶淵明 [tao yuan ming]) in "Poem on the Three Worthies" (〈詠三良詩 [yong san liang shi]〉): "To serve diligently throughout one's years, always fearing one's merits would become increasingly insignificant."

撫琴 [fǔ qín] [fu qin]—
彈琴 [dan qin] (tán qín): To play a musical instrument (specifically a stringed instrument like a zither or lute).
From 《韓非子 [han fei zi].十過 [shi guo]》 (Hán Fēizi - Shí Guò): "因靜坐而寫之 [yin jing zuo er xie zhi]。" (Yīn jìng zuò fǔ qín ér xiě zhī.) "Therefore, he sat quietly, played the zither, and composed it."
From the Three Kingdoms period, 魏 [wei] (Wèi) state, 王粲 [wang can] (Wáng Càn)'s 〈七哀詩 [qi ai shi]〉二首之二 [er shou zhi er] (Qī Āi Shī èr shǒu zhī èr): "獨夜不能寐 [du ye bu neng mei],攝衣起 [she yi qi]。" (Dú yè bù néng mèi, shè yī qǐ fǔ qín.) Appellation (稱謂 [cheng wei] chēngwèi). Children (子女 [zi nu] zǐnǚ) call the man (男子 [nan zi] nánzǐ) who begot them. In Chapter 32 of 《三國演義 [san guo yan yi]》 (Romance of the Three Kingdoms): "I received my (father)'s dying wish (遺命 [yi ming] yímìng), that I be made lord, and my elder brother be appointed General of Chariots and Cavalry (車騎將軍 [che qi jiang jun] chēqí jiāngjūn)." In Chapter 24 of 《紅樓夢 [hong lou meng]》 (Dream of the Red Chamber): "When my (father) died, I was young and knew nothing."
