覆缽 [fu bo]—Fubō — [General Term] The part at the top of a pagoda (塔 [ta]) that is shaped like an inverted bowl and serves as the base for the nine wheels (九輪 [jiu lun]) is called fubō. It is commonly known as the 'dipper-shaped' (斗形 [dou xing]) part. Xuanying's 'Sounds and Meanings' (玄應音義 [xuan ying yin yi]) states: 'According to the Western Regions, there are no separate banner poles (旛竿 [fan gan]); instead, banners (懸旛 [xuan fan]) are hung directly from the column head of the pagoda's fubō (塔覆鉢柱頭 [ta fu bo zhu tou]).'
覆缽—【雜名】塔頂作覆鉢形,為九輪之基者,謂之覆鉢。俗名斗形者是也。玄應音義曰:「案西域別無旛竿,即於塔覆鉢柱頭,懸旛。」

覆帛 [fu bo]—(fù bó) — [Noun] A cloth or fabric (布帛 [bu bo]) used to cover Buddha statues (佛像 [fu xiang]).
The Cundī Ritual Text (準提儀軌 [zhun ti yi gui]) states: "Take the statue to a quiet room (靜室 [jing shi]) for secret worship (秘密供養 [mi mi gong yang]), and cover the statue with a cloth. When reciting (念誦 [nian song]), remove the covering cloth, gaze upon it, pay homage, and make offerings (瞻禮供養 [zhan li gong yang]). After reciting, when you wish to cover it with the cloth, be careful not to let anyone see it."
覆帛—【物名】覆佛像之布帛也。準提儀軌曰:「將像於靜室秘密供養,以帛覆像。念誦時去覆帛,瞻禮供養。念誦畢欲以帛覆,慎勿令人見。」
