- Moisture-born (saṃsvedaja),
- Viviparous (jarāyuja),
- Spontaneously-born (upapāduka).
The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., ‘four wombs’). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
