翡翠衾 [fěi cuì qīn] [fei cui qin]—
A quilt the color of a kingfisher (翡翠鳥 [fei cui niao], fěicuìniǎo). From Tang (唐 [tang]) Dynasty, Bai Juyi’s (白居易 [bai ju yi]) "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" (長恨歌 [zhang hen ge]): "The mandarin duck tiles (鴛鴦瓦 [yuan yang wa]) are cold, heavy with frost (霜華 [shuang hua]); the kingfisher-colored quilt is cold, with whom can I share it?"
翡翠衾:像翡翠鳥顏色一樣的被子。唐.白居易〈長恨歌〉:「鴛鴦瓦冷霜華重,翡翠衾寒誰與共?」
