法芽 [fa ya]—(fǎ yá) — [Glossary entry] The sprout or seedling (苗芽 [miao ya]) of Buddhist Dharma (佛法 [fu fa]). The Avatamsaka Sutra (華嚴經 [hua yan jing]), Chapter 22, states: "The sprouts of Dharma from the Mountain of Wisdom (智山 [zhi shan]) are all purified (清淨 [qing jing])."
法芽—【雜語】佛法之苗芽也。華嚴經二十二曰:「智山法芽,悉已清淨。」
[zá yǔ] fú fǎ zhī miáo yá yě. huá yán jīng èr shí èr yuē: “zhì shān fǎ yá, xī yǐ qīng jìng.”
