Erra is the name of a member of the Kākatīya royal dynasty.—The Bayyāram tank inscription mentions that Erra was the ruler of the Kurravāḍi region. Eriya might have made Kākatipura as his head quarters and ruled the Koravi region. Erra’s son Betiya had no significant role in the family history for which reason his name was omitted in the Bayyāram tank inscription.
