Great Seal Script, Small Seal Script. Book of Jin, Biography of Wei Guan (《晉書 [jin shu].三六 [san liu].衛瓘傳 [wei guan chuan]》): "During the Qin Dynasty, Li Si (李斯 [li si]) was known for the two Seal Scripts. The inscriptions on all the mountains and bronze figures were written in his script." Tang Dynasty, Du Fu's (杜甫 [du fu]) "Song of Li Chao's Eight-Tenths Small Seal Script" (〈李潮八分小篆歌 [li chao ba fen xiao zhuan ge]〉): "The Stone Drums of Chencang (陳倉石鼓 [chen cang shi gu]) have already become corrupted, and from the Great and Small Seal Scripts (大小 [da xiao]) emerged the Eight-Tenths Script (八分 [ba fen])."
二篆:大篆、小篆。《晉書.三六.衛瓘傳》:「秦時李斯號為二篆,諸山及銅人銘皆斯書也。」唐.杜甫〈李潮八分小篆歌〉:「陳倉石鼓又已訛,大小二篆生八分。」
