Source: Pali Kanon: Pali Proper Names1. Ekavihariya Thera - An arahant. In the time of Kassapa Buddha he entered the Order and dwelt in solitude. In this life, too, he was fond of dwelling alone. Ap.ii.390f.
2. Ekavihariya - A monk greatly famed for his love of solitude. When they told the Buddha of him, the Buddha sang his praises in the midst of the assembly. DhA.iii.471f.
