惡覺 [e jue]—Evil Thought—[Term] (術語 [shu yu]) Evil thought (思想 [si xiang]). There are eight different kinds. The end of Volume 5 of Dasheng Yizhang (大乘義章 [da cheng yi zhang]) states: "The thought of an evil mind is called jue (cognition). Because it violates right principles, it is called 'evil'. The evil thoughts are different and separated into eight kinds." Volume 5, Chapter 4 of Zhi Guan (止觀 [zhi guan]) says: "The eight winds (八風 [ba feng]) and evil thoughts cannot penetrate."
惡覺—【術語】惡之思想。有八種之別。大乘義章五末曰:「邪心思想,名之為覺。違正理,故稱為惡。惡覺不同,離分有八。」止觀五之四曰:「八風惡覺,所不能入。」
[shù yǔ] è zhī sī xiǎng. yǒu bā zhǒng zhī bié. dà chéng yì zhāng wǔ mò yuē: “xié xīn sī xiǎng, míng zhī wèi jué. wéi zhèng lǐ, gù chēng wèi è. è jué bù tóng, lí fēn yǒu bā.” zhǐ guān wǔ zhī sì yuē: “bā fēng è jué, suǒ bù néng rù.”
[shu yu] e zhi si xiang. you ba zhong zhi bie. da cheng yi zhang wu mo yue: "xie xin si xiang, ming zhi wei jue. wei zheng li, gu cheng wei e. e jue bu tong, li fen you ba." zhi guan wu zhi si yue: "ba feng e jue, suo bu neng ru."
