Dvisspṛṣṭa (द्विस्स्पृष्ट).—A term used for an upadhmaniya letter or a phonetic element resulting from a visarga followed by the letter प् (p), or फ़् (pha़्). See उपध्मांनीय (upadhmāṃnīya).The word is also used sometimes for the pronunciation ळ् () of ड् (), and ळ्ह् (ḷh) of ढ् (ḍh). See दुःस्पृष्ट (duḥspṛṣṭa).
