Dvipadīkhaṇḍa (द्विपदीखण्ड) refers to a type of metre according to the Kavidarpaṇa II.36.—Dvipadīkhaṇḍa formed with 2 Khaṇḍas or Avalambakas and a Gīti is clearly an old Prakrit strophe as the illustration from; Śrīharṣa’s Ratnāvalī shows. Kavidarpaṇa mentions 4 more strophes formed with two stanzas, which however have not received any specific names for themselves.
