Source: academia.edu: A Study and Translation of the GaganagañjaparipṛcchāDvayaprabhāvita (द्वयप्रभावित) refers to “(that which is) distinguished by duality” (as opposed to Advayaprabhāvita—‘not distinguished by duality’), according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly, “[...] Son of good family, how does the recollection of morality (śīlānusmṛti) of Bodhisattva becomes like open space? What we called ‘morality (śīla)’ is unconditioned, unsullied, no wishful thinking, effortless. It accomplishes vows, fulfils the vows, and has the character of being beyond information. Since it is established by concentration, it is not established in the object of thought. Since it is the root of insight, it is without essential characteristic of discursive thinking. Since it is the outcome of liberation, it is not distinguished by duality (advayaprabhāvita). [...]”.
