賭對 [dǔ duì] [du dui]—
Gambling (賭博 [du bo]). From Stories to Enlighten the World (喻世明言 [yu shi ming yan]), Volume 21 (卷二一 [juan er yi]), "The Rise of Qian Poliu in Lin'an Village" (臨安里錢婆留發跡 [lin an li qian po liu fa ji]): "When people heard he was the son of an official currently in office (見在官府的兒 [jian zai guan fu de er]), no one dared to come and place a bet (上樁 [shang zhuang]). When Dàláng (大郎 [da lang]) had a lucky streak (有采時 [you cai shi]), he would go in and gamble a round (一局 [yi ju]) against someone."
賭對:賭博。《喻世明言.卷二一.臨安里錢婆留發跡》:「人聽說是見在官府的兒,沒人敢來上樁。大郎有采時,進去賭對一局。」
dǔ duì: dǔ bó. < yù shì míng yán. juǎn èr yī. lín ān lǐ qián pó liú fā jī>: “rén tīng shuō shì jiàn zài guān fǔ de ér, méi rén gǎn lái shàng zhuāng. dà láng yǒu cǎi shí, jìn qù dǔ duì yī jú.”
du dui: du bo. < yu shi ming yan. juan er yi. lin an li qian po liu fa ji>: "ren ting shuo shi jian zai guan fu de er, mei ren gan lai shang zhuang. da lang you cai shi, jin qu du dui yi ju."
