Ṭaṅgaṇāpura is mentioned along with another vishaya called Antaraṅga in the inscription of Padmaṭa’s son Subhiksharāja.
This inscribed copper plate (mentioning Drumatī) is preserved in the temple of Yogabadarī (one of the Pañcabadarī) at Pāṇḍukeśvar (Pāṇḍukeśvara). The date corresponds to some day in the 25th regnal year of king Padmaṭadeva (first half of the tenth century A.D.). It records the grant of several pieces of land situated in Drumatī which formed a part of the Ṭaṅgaṇāpura-viṣaya as well as in Yośi.
