Source: Encyclopedia of Jainism: Tattvartha SutraDravyārthikanaya (नय) refers to substance stand/viewpoint and represents a division of naya (standpoint).—Standpoints are seven in number according to the 2nd-century Tattvārthasūtra 1.33.
