(-ṣṭhaḥ-ṣṭhā-ṣṭhaṃ) Hardest, very hard or firm, &c. E. dṛḍha with the superlative affix, iṣṭhan and the liquid substituted for the vowel; also with īyasun affix draḍhīyas (-yān-yasī-yaḥ) .
