Ḍombarī (डोम्बरी) refers to one of the eight hell-guardians (narakapāla) of the Kāyacakra, according to the 10th century Ḍākārṇava chapter 15. Accordingly, the kāyacakra refers to one of the four divisions of the nirmāṇa-puṭa (‘emanation layer’), situated in the Herukamaṇḍala. Ḍombarī is associated with the charnel ground (śmaśāna) named Bhīṣaṇa and with the tree (vṛkṣa) named Ḍombara.
