Source: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuDodhī in the Hindi language is another name for Jīvantī, a medicinal plant identified with Leptadenia reticulata (cork swallow-wort) from the Apocynaceae, or “dogbane family” of flowering plants, according to verse 3.37-39 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The third chapter (guḍūcyādi-varga) of this book contains climbers and creepers (vīrudh). Other than the Hindi word Dodhī, there are more synonyms identified for this plant among which eighteen are in Sanskrit.
