1) Ḍiṭhaunā (डिठौना):—(nm) a black sooty mark on the face (supposedly to guard against an evil glance).

2) Diṭhaunā (दिठौना):—(nm) an evil-countering black mark, a black mark or artificial mole (put on the forehead or the cheek, esp. of a child) to ward off the influence of a malignant eye/an evil glance.
