耵聹腺 [dīng níng xiàn] [ding ning xian]—
An important integumentary gland (外皮腺 [wai pi xian]) of the auditory organ (聽覺器官 [ting jue qi guan]). It is located in the posterior part of the external auditory canal (外聽道 [wai ting dao]) and opens into the external auditory canal (外聽道 [wai ting dao]). It can secrete a yellow fatty substance (脂肪物 [zhi fang wu]) to prevent dust (灰塵 [hui chen]) and small insects (小蟲 [xiao chong]) from entering the ear.
耵聹腺：聽覺器官重要的外皮腺。位於外聽道後部，開口於外聽道。能分泌黃色脂肪物，防止灰塵、小蟲侵入耳內。
