第一空行 [di yi kong xing]—First Kongxing —
[Term] The practice of emptying the evils of the three karmas (三業 [san ye]) is called Kongxing (空行 [kong xing]). Kongxing (空行 [kong xing]) has superior and inferior forms depending on whether it belongs to Mahayana or Hinayana (大小乘 [da xiao cheng]). The Kongxing (空行 [kong xing]) of Mahayana is called the First (第一 [di yi]). The Nirvana Sutra (涅槃經 [nie pan jing]), Volume 1, states: "In order to benefit and bring peace and happiness to sentient beings, one accomplishes the Mahayana First Kongxing."

第一空行—【術語】空三業之惡之行法謂之空行,空行有大小乘之勝劣,大乘之空行謂之第一。涅槃經一曰:「為欲利益安樂眾生,成就大乘第一空行。」

[shù yǔ] kōng sān yè zhī è zhī xíng fǎ wèi zhī kōng xíng, kōng xíng yǒu dà xiǎo chéng zhī shèng liè, dà chéng zhī kōng xíng wèi zhī dì yī. niè pán jīng yī yuē: “wèi yù lì yì ān lè zhòng shēng, chéng jiù dà chéng dì yī kōng xíng.”
