Viewed as pure, and fit for the use of a Brahman in the state of ordinary sōvaḷēpaṇā (i. e. sōvaḷēpaṇā good enough for dēvapūjā and other such offices, but not for bhōjana the grandest and sublimest office of Brahman-humanity).
