Dhundhukapura (धुन्धुकपुर) is another name for the village Dhundhukā.—Hemacandra was born in a village called Dhundhukā, situated at the south-western corner of Ahmedabad, the present capital city of Gujurat. The name of the village is otherwise known as Dhundhukkanagara and Dhundhukapura.
