To turn from one's pursuit or purpose; to do or forbear (at another's bidding); to stir a step; to budge a peg. Neg. con Ex. mī tyāsa itakēṃ bōla- lōṃ parantu tyānēṃ ḍhima khāllī nāhīṃ. 2 Used also as a & ad Fixed, fast, stiff, utterly unmoving and unheeding. Ex. kōṇhī kāṃhīṃ karō hā āpalā ḍhimma or ḍhimma basatō.
