1) Whiteness, white colour; अधिगतधवलिम्नः शूलपाणेरभिख्याम् (adhigatadhavalimnaḥ śūlapāṇerabhikhyām) Śiśupālavadha 4.65.
2) Paleness; इयं भूतिर्नाङ्गे प्रियविरहजन्मा धवलिमा (iyaṃ bhūtirnāṅge priyavirahajanmā dhavalimā) Subhāṣ; धवलिमा जातो मणीनां गणे (dhavalimā jāto maṇīnāṃ gaṇe) Sūkti.5.81.
