Dharmadhāraṇī (धर्मधारणी) or simply Dharma refers to “the rentention of the dharma” and represents the “four retentions” (dhāraṇī) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 52). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (eg., dharma-dhāraṇī). The work is attributed to Nagarjuna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
