dhārāpēṇḍōḷā (धारापेंडोळा).—m (See pēṇḍōḷā. Rate and bounds.) The regular or ordinary, the prescriptive or current rate or rule (in dealing, appraising, negotiating &c.) 2 (See pēṇḍōḷā. Line of conveyance or passage.) Traditional custom or usage; long-established course or practice. Ex. śētācā dhā0 tyā kuṇabyānēṃ miḷavilā. Hence the phrase comes to signify Line of descent of, or one's standing and connection generally, ancestral or collateral. v miḷa, paṭa, lāga, miḷava, dākhava, lāva. Ex. tumacā āma- cā dhā0 miḷālā mhaṇajē mulagī dēīna (i.e. sōyarikīcā athavā jātīcā sambandha).
