Source: academia.edu: Tessitori Collection IDhanaratnasūri (धनरत्नसूरि) is the name of a teacher in the lineage of Nayasundara: the author of the Surasundarīcarita (dealing with the lives of Jain female heroes), which is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—Nayasundara belonged to the bṛhattapāgaccha and was a pupil of Bhānumeru from the lineage of Dhanaratnasūri. The dated works of this rather prolific writer range between V,S. 1618 and 1669. The present composition was written in VS 1646 (= 1589 ce).
