(-cchuḥ) The Numidian crane. E. dhana the wealth, (of fields,) and ccho to destroy, affix ṭu Note; as a synonym of kareṭukhage this word would seem to mean the bird stated: the name itself is more analogous to the D'hanesa of the dialects or the Indian Buceros.
