ḍhaḷaṇēṃ (ढळणें).—v i To slip aside; to slide or move out of place; to yield or give. 2 To incline; to lean over. 3 To fail , sink break--health or constitution. 4 Ti fail, flinch, quail, yield, give way, draw back, 5 To miss or fail of the aim: also to be missed--to be the object of a failing aim. 6 fig.To pass away; to cease from being observed; to fail of its influence; to fall into oblivion or desuetude--a regimen, rite, rule. 7 To be waved over or around (as around an idol)- a fan or brush. Ex. kuñcē ḍhaḷati dōnhī bāhīṃ || javaḷa rāhī rakhumāī ||.
