dēvhārā (देव्हारा).—m (dēva & gṛha through H) A sort of frame or enclosing case for an idol, a shrine. 2 Ostentatious worship or devotion. dē0 phailāvaṇēṃ-mājaṇēṃ-vāḍhaṇēṃ g. of s. To grow big; to be advancing in state and dignity;--used of a worthless person. dē0 mājaviṇēṃ-vāḍhaviṇēṃ-māṇḍaṇēṃ To set up pretensions to devil-dealing-- to the power of raising, exorcising &c. 2 To make great show of piety and devotion. dēvhāṛyānta dēva nāhīṃsā hōṇēṃ To seem to have left its tenement--the soul. Spoken of one lost in high amazement or terror. dēvhāṛyānta basaviṇēṃ or māṇḍaṇēṃ To idolize.
