Source: archive.org: Ceylon Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society 1963Devagiriya or Devagiriyavihāra is the name of a vihāra, that existed near the ancient kingdom of Anurādhapura, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).—Two inscriptions of the 5th century at Labuāṭabāndigala, 7 miles north of Horovapotāna on the Kapugollāva road, mention (i) Devagiriya-vihāra, the site of the inscriptionm and (ii) the village Niṭalaviṭiya.
