1) [noun] a man who inherits or is legally entitled to inherit another’s property.

2) [noun] a relative on one’s paternal side, more distant than a brother or sister, but considered so; a cousin.

3) [noun] a paternal relative (who is ritually bound to participate in the funeral rites and ceremonies of a person of any of the mutual families); a kinsman.
