Source: archive.org: SardhatrisatikalottaragamaDārḍhyāpādana (दार्ढ्यापादन) refers to “soil-consolidation by pounding (the earth)” which is prescribed as one of the operations/ preliminary ceremonies related to the kuṇḍa (“fire-pit”), according to the various Āgamas and related literature. Dārḍhyāpādana is mentioned in the Mṛgendra-āgama (Kriyā-pāda, chapter 6).
