A contemporary person possessing talent (才識 [cai shi]), insight (才識 [cai shi]), and a broad mind (氣度 [qi du]).
From "Records of the Three Kingdoms (《三國志 [san guo zhi]》), Volume 9 (卷九 [juan jiu]), Book of Wei (魏書 [wei shu]), Biography of Cao Xiu (曹休傳 [cao xiu chuan])": "Zhao (肇 [zhao]) possessed the talent and bearing (才度 [cai du]) of his time (當世 [dang shi]), and served as Palace Attendant (散騎常侍 [san qi chang shi]) and Colonel of the Tunqi (屯騎校尉 [tun qi xiao wei])."

當世才度:當代具有才識氣度的人。《三國志.卷九.魏書.曹休傳》:「肇有當世才度,為散騎常侍、屯騎校尉。」
