dabadabīta (दबदबीत).—a Soft, yielding, mashy--an article of food. 2 ad Used of the belly when filled with such food, or when feeling soft, slack, yielding &c. v bhara. 3 Used of the belly when filled to satisfaction or to pleasurable feeling. v bhara. 4 Used of the ground when wetted suitably for sowing. Ex. jamīna da0 bhijalī bīṃ pērā. 5 Used also of the tone or sounding of a slack drum.
