打游擊 [dǎ yóu jī] [da you ji]—
1. To engage in guerrilla warfare (游擊戰 [you ji zhan]). For example: "During the War of Resistance Against Japan (抗戰時期 [kang zhan shi qi]), he once engaged in guerrilla warfare in the Taihang Mountains area (太行山區 [tai xing shan qu])."
