To stride forward (邁開大步 [mai kai da bu]). For example: "Once the goal (目標 [mu biao]) is set, you can stride forward boldly (向前邁進 [xiang qian mai jin]), what is there to fear (何懼之有 [he ju zhi you])?" From The Water Margin (《水滸傳 [shui hu chuan]》) Chapter Three: "Before the words were finished, a big man (大漢 [da han]) strode in (入來 [ru lai]) and entered the teahouse (茶坊 [cha fang])."
大踏步:邁開大步。如:「確定目標,就可大踏步向前邁進,何懼之有?」《水滸傳》第三回:「道猶未了,只見一個大漢,大踏步入來,走進茶坊裡。」
