Cuṇṭiyuṇṭai (சுண்டியுண்டை) [cuṇṭi-uṇṭai] noun < சுண்டி³ [sundi³] +. A pill prepared from the bark of the roots of catura-k-kaḷḷi, cittirakam, koñci and cumin seed, used to produce fermentation in rice and other food; சதுரக்கள்ளி, சித்திரகம், கொஞ்சி இவற் றின் வேர்ப்பட்டையாலும் சீரகத்தாலும் செய்யப்பட்டுச் சோறு முதலியவற்றைப் புளிக்க வைப்பதற்கு உப யோகிக்கும் குளிகை.
