Source: Cologne Digital Sanskrit Dictionaries: Indian Epigraphical GlossaryCorarajjuka.—(HD), probably the same as Dāṇdapāśika, an officer whose duty it was to secure robbers with ropes (cf. Arthaśāstra, IV. 13; II. 6 referring to cora-rajjū as a constituent of the rāṣṭra). Note: corarajjuka is defined in the “Indian epigraphical glossary” as it can be found on ancient inscriptions commonly written in Sanskrit, Prakrit or Dravidian languages.
